Charging led light not working after 6.12.173 OTA Update. It use to come on when the phone was powered off and plugged in to charge. Any way to get it back?

If you want a nice LED, get Lightflow and set a charging and charged LED to green and speed to blinking (or always on whatver works). Works great and it will flash green when charging & charged.

Now as for having it turned off. Sorry :( The app runs on the phone idk about that.

Hmm. I've never had an LED telling me it's charging. Like I care.

That was one thing I liked about all my HTC phones. The orange light told me it was charging and when it was green, I knew it was fully charged. It's one of the reasons I avoided Samsung phones because they didn't have an LED for anything. So, while you may not care, it is a helpful feature to some.

The Razr never had a light on when it was powered up and charging, but it is odd they'd take away the power off state of the charging LED. Mine is the same way now.

Oh, it'll matter when it starts taking hours to charge! LOL. For now, it doesn't matter, but by then, there'll probably be some update that'll turn it on and freak everyone out. What I miss since I've not yet abandoned the built in text app is the blue led I used to get for texts. Now, everything's green. For everything.

Yeah, you have to wonder why they keep everything green. When they have an LED that can mimic a good chunk of the spectrum, why not have different colors for things. Let the user decide what color is for what event. I'd love to see a different color for txt and gmail natively without having to use another app to set it.

That's one of the few things I miss about my Blackberry. Notifications were much more customizable.

There are apps to do that. I'm just trying to stay more minimal this time.
