Charging not working

Hi.. I have the Pixel 3xl. The other day, I plugged it in as usual and rapid charging worked fine like it always has. When the battery got to about 30%, I unplugged it because I needed to use the flashlight for a minute. When I went to plug it back in, it all of a sudden wouldn't recognize my charger at all (it was the one supplied by Google). My wife has a 2xl, and her charger was the same thing. I had another USB c cord in another room (non rapid) and it was able to charge. How do I get it to recognize my rapid charger again? Anyone experience anything similar?

Did you try testing your charger on your wife's phone? Maybe your charger and/or cable failed.

Both chargers work on her phone. Neither charger works on my phone. Also, I tried the charger in the car and that doesn't work either. Is there anything software-wise that will correct the issue or does it sound more like hardware?

Try blowing the phone's USB port out with a can of compressed air, and clean the contacts with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol.

No luck. Still not working, except for one random cable I have in the house. Ugh and this phone is just a year old.

In that case, contact Google for a replacement. That should easily be covered by warranty.
