Charging options for Pixel 2

Hello fellow Google Pixelites. I literally just picked up a white 64 GB Pixel 2 phone from Bell. I used my 2 buyer's remorse (return) limit so now I am fully committed to it. Can't really give an honest evaluation, but after an hour P2 is an awesome device

So here is my question. My wife has the Galaxy S8 with a type-C fast charging cable. I should be able to use that to charge the Pixel 2 at home with no issues, correct? I like to keep the proprietary cable at my office.

Just going through the motions of updates. Thankfully we have Wifi at work.

I have another question. I am trying to setup my work email on the Pixel 2 under a GMAIL POP3 account but I keep getting the certificate error. Is there a way to get around that?
