I have recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Y which included a micro usb lead to charge battery and transfer data, which works when plugged into a PC/netbook. With my old mobile (Sony ericsson W395) I was able to use the usb charge/data lead, attached to an external battery designed to charge the phones battery, or any device running from USB, successfully. This I cannot do with the Galaxy Y. Any ideas why this might be?
