I was really disappointed when I realized that the S21 Ultra does not have a notification LED.

1) How can I get a charging status similar to the Note 9 (orange=charging, green=fully charged) ?

2) Since there is no LED then how can I get notified when apps tell me there is email or whatever?

Thanks all

You can use AOD (Always On Display). It tells you how much charge and gives you icons for apps that have notifications. It's pretty useful, to me anyways.

I heard that the AOD uses a lot of battery so I have it turned off.
Does it have a setting to turn on AOD only when on charge this way it doesn't drain the battery?

It doesn't use that much battery on my s21. At least not enough to be worrisome. I would give it a try and see how much battery is being used and make your decision off that.

That app is really cool. I am going to check that out. Does it show charging status or full charge?

I found two in the play store by the same developer. One is called Notification Light - aodNotify and the other is Notification Light - aodNotify

Are they the same app?
