I am going to Italy in about a week - other than a plug adapter, does anyone know if the U.S. version if the HTC U 11 can be plugged straight into the wall - is it rated to charge at 220V? Thanks in advance.

Yes, I just checked mine and its rated for 100 - 240V input. (Output is 5V, 2.5A)

Son has been in Russia the last 3.5 weeks with the U11. Amazing pictures. (lots of pics does eat the battery, though.) Otherwise, great battery life. Charges with an adapter. Get a Kmashi external battery from amazon.com and you are good to go. Sprint has free 2G data internationally. And the the Wifi calling sounds like he is in the next room.
