Okay so I know the charging via USB in the car for Android Auto was slow but it took my phone an hour and 5 minutes to go from 60% to 82%. Does that sound normal? There's no way to speed up USB charging in the car though is there?

That really depends on the vehicle. If the USB port is a standard type-A port it's going to max at 1.4A I think, with some capped at 0.5A.

Yeah that's what I thought. I thought it was .5 amps output. It's a regular size USB port in my armrest. I don't know the voltage output button is .5 amps. just out of curiosity, do you use your quick charger right before bed? You don't overcharge the phone overnight though right? I figured basically that with my little use of my phone during the day charging via USB would take the place of my quick charger at home. Especially since I use Android Auto everyday like we all do.

I plug in to a charger near my recliner (actually just did, at 9 PM), then unplug when I go to bed. I also have a USB-C 12V adapter in the car and a charger on my desk at work. I don't often need to plug in overnight. My fastest charger is actually next to my bed so I could plug it in there for an hour and it gets a good boost. I'm not often away from a charger for so long that my phone can't make it through the day unless I totally space on plugging it in...

Yeah usually I leave my wall charger packed away in a bag because I don't need it. Charge up via USB in the car and that's about it. I don't use my phone that much during the day where it matters.
