Have you checked Best Buy? I saw a similar one in Canada but it had an SSD drive for the same price.Well, I'll most likely be getting this laptop soon?
Guess I'll drop the specs, too.
Acer V5 laptop

Windows 8 64-bit
3rd gen Intel Core i5 processor (dual core, 1.8GHz/2.7 GHz)
Intel HD 4000 graphics
8GB DDR3 SDRAM
1TB serial ATA hard drive
15.6" 1366x768 (yeah, I know?) TFT touch screen
2500 mAh Li-ion 4-cell battery
Optical drive (not needed but a plus nevertheless)
$649 at Costco
So not the best specs, but definitely great for the price. I don't need something too high-end anyways.
My next purchase will NOT run windows. Thank god.

My intel machine I'm building will run windows and OS X hackintosh! Problem solved!
Do you have the maximum specs for what OSX supports?

I'm 99% sure my specs fit, except my haswell processor the only build that supports it is mavericks which I plan on getting when it drops or getting my hands on a beta build
Yeah I'm running Mavericks DP3(I'm a dev)

Lucky!I am for the iOS but not Mac. For some reason I'm really excited for the droid ultra and the htc one coming to Verizon and don't know why

I like the droid ultra because of battery life hope that stupid carrier doesn't make it US only.

I was pissed at Microsoft earlier, but a phone call later, and they made it more than right. Would like to run Ubuntu to check it out. Not sure I could run osx.
