FX-8350 and the Intel i7 4770k are nearly equivlant

This link is being strange,However the amd proc scores a 9043 and the i7 4770k 10327
(first site I looked at for benchmarks was wrong)

Link is broken for me
I just know that the i7 is almost double the price, so probably not as good of a value as the one you got

What was the benchmark for? They're pretty close in a lot of the benchmarks I saw, but the i7 does better for some tasks and the AMD for others

There's nothing wrong with choosing what you chose and working within a budget. We all have budgets. But cherry picking a single benchmark to try and prove that the AMD is better than a top of the line i7 isn't cool.

That is now settled.

Now to be fair, the comparison should be the i5-4670k, in which case the AMD makes a strong case for itself, winning in quite a few while being priced better.
