Cheap Ebay USB Adapter

Anyone know if these things are safe to use with the captivate? I'm not worried about the reliablity of it because its only .99 but I was wondering if it would overcharge or send to much juice to the captivate and fry the battery or something.

fyi, these things didn't work, just to let you guys know. Glad they were only .99
