I was searching for alot of tablets just to see prices, specs, and iPad and galaxy s's are too expensive, plus dont need the 3g monthly price. I found alot of 100-200 dollar tablets, I think there like ePads or something like that, from china I guess. Is it worth it to buy a 200 dollar/150 dollar tablet. I saw some 1 ghz, 600 mhz dual core tabs, but there all 2.0-2.1 =/ There also all resistance, and not capacitive. Still worth buying, just for casual use? I still have a laptop and desktop.

The Dell Streak 7 is what I might get,450 off contract and it has a lot of powerful specs.... problem with it is that apparently the resolution is simply terrible, looks more than fine for the price, if people can bare the form factor of a Nook Colour, I am sure they can last with a slightly smaller display.

The epads (especially from Kmart) are no good. I wouldn't trust them because if you are used to a smooth android experience on your phone you will get pissed when using a epad.

I did TONS of research on cheaper tablets as well. Most of the reviews on the epads are terrible so I wouldn't waste $ on that. My decision was between the ViewSonic GTab or the NOOKcolor and I went with the NOOKcolor. It's very reasonably priced at $250, rooting process was simple and I haven't been happier!
