Checked out the Tab Today

Where have you seen deals on iPads? Besides Marshalls/TJMaxx "unauthorized, unadvertised sale"...

That's the one I can recall off the top of my head. Is it bogus? Aren't they cheaper at Costco or something too?

Supposedly it was an unadvertised, marketing deal... They were $399.

Besides the $20-$30 discounts every now and then, like the warehouse stores, thats the cheapest I've seen them.

Who knows if they were warrantied though?

I can't stand Apple, but I've tried the ipad and its very cool and only 500 for the wifi version. I'm waiting for android prices to come down and quality to go up. The Tab is neat but IMO over priced.

A refurbished 16GB wi-fi iPad can be bought directly from Apple for $449 (saving $50). I just got one but haven't cracked it open.

I'm really on the fence about the Tab vs iPad thing. I am an Android fan (have the Droid X and original Droid before that), but can't justify the current cost for the Samsung Tab. I may keep the ipad and wait for the wi-fi only version of the Samsung Tab, or maybe even the Blackberry Playbook.

Tough decision though...
