Hello,

I've spent 6 months in China and got an M8, now that I'm back in Europe I would fully-use my Chinese mobile.
Sim works but unfortunately there's a lot of chinese software that I can't use and in addiction a lot of google apps are blocked.

I tried to root with a two different images, fastboot flash recovery image.img,
unfortunately when I restart the phone I receive the message "wrong image or no image" and I've seen it's looking for a 0P6B....img file,
I tried to rename the .img file to 0P6B... but it doesn't work.

I've download TWRP manager from the HTC shop but it stops since the phone is not rooted.

I tried to do the S-Off but apparently all the tools are offline...

I simply would install a brand new version of Android.

Anyone could help me clarifying what I should do ???

Thank you very much for your patience...

Lorenzo ;)

You will probably need to use sunshine to get s-off which will cost you $25 if it works and nothing if it doesnt. If you are able to obtain s-off you can supercid which will allow you use use a RUU from your region
