I have SuperSU and i have a few questions.

1 I have an app (sky sports tv ap) that wont work if you have root access, now i know i can Enable and disable Superuser to make the app work but is there a way to remove that app for root access or can you only choose what does and doesnt have root access from apps that require root like titanium Backup?

2 what is the reason to need to convert SuperSU to a system app does it help in any way?

Thanks for any help

Welcome to the forums!

1. The app in question is set up to deny use if the device is rooted. People were pissed about the NFL app being non root only. They changed it quick. Other than that, you can't change the specifics of that app.

2. I am honestly not sure.

Welcome to the forums!

You can remove the SU app. However, anything requiring app won't work and will likely crash if you open it. For example, opening Titanium Backup without the SU app will cause it to not work.

I'm not really sure why SU is installed on the /system side of the OS rather than /data. It could be the way SU needs to handle permissions of certain apps to access /system.

thank you both for your help i have a better understanding of superSU now and look forward to more fun with my rooted nexus 7
