Might want to elaborate on where you're seeing this information or if it's anything specific. There's always going to be vulnerabilities in apps that updates solve/correct. You can disable Chrome and use something else, but those other Browsers will also have their own issues at some point. It's pretty much inevitable. Need to evaluate the risks vs. acceptable level of tolerance.

Always look at the source and the details of the scary article you're reading. 99% of the time, it's a company that wants to sell you their antivirus software, and the vulnerability is something that would only affect a tiny percentage of users (perhaps because they're using a woefully outdated Android version, or have really unsafe habits like visiting shady websites like "free" movie download sites).

Here are some of my thoughts: [GUIDE] How To Avoid Malware - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com

If you're still concerned, and if you can't uninstall Chrome, then you should still be able to Disable it in Settings>Apps. Just make sure you have another browser installed.

You mean a security app? What exactly did the warning say?

I updated it and it now shows safe, I hope it is,lol

Ok, good. This demonstrates why it's important to keep apps updated when updates are available, since most updates contain bugfixes and security patches.

I usually do, didn't know it needed updating. 😊
