I think it may just be a default warning to cover their bases. If I cast YouTube or any chromecast supported app I don't get any warning. It only happens when I choose cast from Google Home to cast (mirror) my phone screen to my tv. I don't cast anything that uses a password and I wouldn't care if anyone could see what I cast (pictures or videos of my cats etc.)
It bothers me that nobody else here seems to have seen it when they cast their phone screen to Chromecast?I think it may just be a default warning to cover their bases.

That's cool I was just showing Vader I'm not the only one getting this message with the link in my previous post. Why some of us get it and some don't I don't know. I don't see why screen casting a video of my cats would reveal passwords nor any other info. I don't install apps from sources other than Play Store and its scan shows nothing wrong. I only use Google Home which is a Google app of course. If someone hacked into my chromecast I doubt they'd warn me.I'm sorry I couldn't test it at work today , it was crazy busy and as it ended I couldn't wait to get home![]()
I will still stop by tomorrow and give a update as I'm going in tommorow anyway for some paperwork.
