So I love the Samsung browser (especially after the update) but I need to use chrome BC of the autofill feature. I shop a lot on my phone and the autofill feature is an huge time saver. Is there any kind of autofill on the Samsung browser?

I used Chrome until it started using mediaserver causing excessive battery loss.

I too prefer Samsung Browser now.

What type of auto fill are you looking for.

When I checkout on a website I like how I can autofill my address and credit card info that I have stored with chrome. It's an excellent feature

The Samsung Sync Chrome Extension from the Chrome Web Store.

Thanks. I installed it but when I open it and sign in to my Samsung account it hangs on "Signing in ...". I doublechecked the account name and password and closed and reopened Chrome but got the same results.

I dont think I ever had that problem and don't know what to tell you. I just tried signing out and back in, and it worked.

I just let it sit and after a few hours it did sign in. I turned synch on and after 14 hours it still shows "Syncing ...". Did a synch on the phone side and nothing changes.

What provider do you use? I inspect the Chrome extension window with Chrome developer tools and see this error:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) https://vision.sprintpcs.com/favicon.ico

iscroll.js:1058 'webkitCancelAnimationFrame' is vendor-specific. Please use the standard 'cancelAnimationFrame' instead.

I'm using Sprint and I wonder if there is an issue due to phone service provider, in my case Sprint.

I have AT&T. Perhaps Samsung uses different authentication depending on who your carrier is(?). Seems a little odd though to link a sign-in to your carrier like that. Each carrier wants the phone customized up to wazoo for them, so we get this kind of fragmentation.

Maybe so. I gave up and did it the brute force way - I exported bookmarks to an HTML file in Chrome, copied that to my phone and bookmarked the file in the browser, and then used that to go to each of my favorite places and then added bookmarks for those.

The only thing I don't like about the Samsung browser is you cannot pinch zoom on pictures immediately, you have to open original picture then do it. A step you shouldn't really need to do.
Bug bear about Chrome is the search text size stays the same what ever I do.
