Chromebook smart Lock?

Does anyone use the Moto X4 as Smart Lock device to unlock Google Chromebook?

I have been trying repeatedly and just continue to have issues. I am not sure if the problem is the Moto X4 and its Bluetooth 5, the Chromebook, or something else.

I was using it but I have not been able to get it to work since Oreo update.

I had same problem and fixed it by disabling any chrome://flags that mentioned bluetooth.
