Hello,
When I first purchased the Chromecast Audio (CA), I plugged it into the left and right RCA Aux ports on the front of my audio/video receiver (AVR).
However, I got a new Onkyo AVR for Christmas and it has no RCA Aux port. The only AUX port is HDMI.
I have spent a *lot* of time searching the web for a 3.5mm to HDMI cable (or even a RCA to HDMI cable) all to no avail. I can buy a converter box for like $35 which has yet another wall wart, but that's too expensive an alternative, plus dealing wth yet another device creates a problem of its own.
Anyone else have this problem -- an HDMI Aux port -- and found a good, low-cost solution?
Cheers,
- martyah
