Chromecast bug finally fixed!

At least for users in the US (from my understanding EU is still on JB). Strangely I didn't receive a notification for the update but I decided to manually check and found a 102MB update. Kernel build date is Sep 3.

Glad they finally got around to this.

Nope using stock rom with no root.

Wow, I just went to settings/Software update / check for new software update. And I am told my software is up to date.

Is it correct to assume that all you did was go to Software update / check update?

That's all I did. Went to settings and checked for update and it was there. Only thing strange about my tablet so far was that it came with Kit Kat out of the box.

Updates come out in "waves" so not everyone has gotten it yet.

Does this update apply to 4G/LTE devices too or just Wi-Fi please?
