Definitely still think it's worth the price, but have encountered some problems. It works but is incredibly slow on my Samsung Chromebook, which I know isn't listed as a compatible device, I can't cast from my PC on the same network since it's connected by ethernet, not wireless, but on my iPhone 5 and aging Macbook, it works just fine. The main problem is that I have a Samsung TV with a USB service port that I am using for power, and I have tried it plugged into the wall instead of the service port, with the same results, and the problem is that if I switch inputs to my cable connection, the cable broadcast is broken up in both video and audio when I initially turn the TV on. Sometimes the video will break up even later after everything settles down and then the audio occasionally "cylons" on me. Unplugging the power to the Chromecast, whether I am using the service port or the wall plug, cures the problem with the cable broadcast. You would never be watching both at the same time so this problem, is relatively minor and more along the just irritating kind, but still a problem.I believe the TV is about 4 years old, 26", and obviously not the latest in electronics. It does have 2 HDMI ports and the cable connection. I have tried the other HDMI port and get the same results.
