It's funny...you would think streaming (and mirroring) your local media from a cellphone (HTC One for me) would be cakewalk easy....and streaming internet media via the lone 4 apps advertised on the Chromecast box would take more doing....why didn't they add the ability to stream your personal media residing on your phone or pc (without extensions and hoop jumping,etc) ?
Aside from the portability advantage, most people already can stream netflix and youtube from their TV or blu-ray player....the REAL cool factor this dongle SHOULD have, is the ability to not only send anything and everything on your cellphone to your TV, but MIRROR the phone as well......maybe this functionality is coming down the road...Can anyone from Google perhaps comment on this?
