Chromecast through A/V receiver-- HDMI question

Hi All,

I have a Chromecast connected to my Pioneer A/V receiver. I'm casting off my macbook pro and have adjusted the casting to 480(as many have suggested to help lagging), however, the video is still lagging compared to the audio. Would it make any difference to upgrade the output HDMI cable that is running from my receiver to the TV-- would this help with the lagging? Thoughts?

No. The lagging is related to network bandwidth, not HDMI.
