Chromecast Ultra any benefit for FHD (1080p) TVs?

We switched TV providers from Bell Canada to Rogers, and as such the set-top box from Rogers (NextBox 3) does not have the ability to play Netflix hence the decision to get a Chromecast.

We are going to get a Chromecast 2, but before getting it I was wondering would there be any benefit from getting a Chromecast Ultra for a FHD (1080p) TV? I have read a few articles online saying that the Ultra would be "faster" (more processing power) and have a better/bigger buffer, but that for FHD use the the Chromecast 2 is good. Anyone using an Ultra on a FHD (1080p) TV and what has your experience been like compared to using a Chromecast 2?

Also we have no plans to buy a 4K TV in the next 2 years because the price is still more than we are willing to pay and also we have a perfectly good 1080p HDTV we are happy with.

I have the Ultra and it's a nice upgrade. The upgrade is worth it.
