chromecast without wifi??

hi I just wanted to know if it is possible to use google Chromecast without it being connected to WiFi?? because I don't have wifi all the time as I'm just using the 4g internet on my phone? I want to be able to connect my phone to the TV?

I think (but I'm not sure and I don't want to kill the wifi for the entire house to find out) that the Chromecast requires internet to set up and update, but it will establish a peer-to-peer connection with the phone. (I know it will work with a wifi router that has no internet connection once it's been set up, but I seem to recall one installation in which we couldn't reach the router with the Chromecast, but it still worked with a nearby phone.) But you'll have to find some non-phone internet connection to do the initial setup.

In another thread someone mentioned that you can do peer to peer, aka screen sharing, to the chrome-cast,with no WiFi . But that is it. No other Chrome-cast actions will work.
