You can't uninstall apps that came with the phone. You will need to wait for root access & possibly a custom ROM.

I would like to know this as well. Same with Peep, Teeter, Car Panel, and Footprints. You cannot uninstall them in the standard fashion. I do have an Uninstaller app, but I don't want to inadvertently remove any data from my phone that I actually need.

Even if u could, which u cant, never uninstall footprints as its tied in with gps. uninstalling will make other prugrams that use gps unusable.

if city ID was always free that'd b fine i guess, but having to pay 2 a month for this piece of crap app, is really embarassing by VZW. thus far this is my only complaint which isnt really a big deal guys.

It does seem ridiculous to pay $1.99 a month for this feature. There's an app in the Market called "Area Code ID' that's .99. I might give it a shot.
