Cleaned my earphone jack, now its not working

Hello, i have samsung galaxy edge plus, had problem with the earphones not holding into place, read the internet, used the tips, and none of them worked. One tip suggested using a needle to scrape the dust, if the dust is hadly compresed. So i did that, and the earphones are now holding good again. But one problem - they dont work. I guess i have scrathed port or something. Now the question what to do to fix it, i just get to phone fixed by local repairman but the price difrence from edge 6 jack fix and edge plus jack fix is huge - 6 = 40Euros and 6+ = 200Euros.
