Cleaning the speaker grill

I've had the HTC10 since about the release date of May 2016. As many owners have probably experienced, the bottom speaker grill has accumulated dust and debris as I'm sure is somewhat normal with all phones.

Has anyone taken the time to clean the bottom speaker grill? How or what did you use?

I tried to blow it off gently with compressed air but I still see gunk.

Any tips?

Try a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. I use the same for laptop screens, keyboards and cooling vents. Don't be afraid to cram those bristles into crevasses to loosen up any dust.
