Clear back cover

Has anyone seen a clear back cover available for the Incredible? Every time I take off the battery cover to pull the battery (Once a week) I cant help but think of how good the inside looks and I kind of want to put a clear backing on it. Anyone else agree?

I like the current cover. I would like to see the bright red glossy cover that was on the prereleased Incredible.

Why the he** are you pulling the battery once a week? It's NOT a freaking Blackberry - you no longer have to do that. Further it's not a good thing to do to your phone.

I swap batteries every 6 hours. Wish there was a more durable cover or even metal. I have 3 spare batteries to stay afloat

Lol, I also am wondering why you are pulling the battery once a week. I like the idea of a clear battery covert though.

When things start going slow at all (Internet sometimes does in my house because of poor reception) I pull the battery out after I have shut the phone off. Always seems to speed things up. But if anyone knows where to get something like that it was be great. Or if somebody with the resources could make one. The overlay doesnt look too bad but I think the inside of the phone looks much nicer, with the HTC battery and all.

i was thinking it would be neat too, then i realized i had a black battery so i wouldn't be able to use it (and have it look nice)


right now, i'm pretty happy with the cover it comes with as i'm a huge fan of the soft touch rubberized coating.

what makes no sense to me is....... everyone jumped all over the Incredible before when they showed it with the red battery cover (same color as the inside). Now people want a clear cover so they can see that red color. people are confusing... HTC cant make anyone happy.

I see what your saying but the red under a clear cover is a different look than a red back cover. I don't know if I would have liked the original. I would have bought it and put a case on it anyway but I like the black better than the red. On the other hand I do not know of I would buy the clear cover now that I think of it because I do feel you need a case on this phone to raise the camera lens and the screen slightly up to prevent scratching.

I for one have never even seen the phone when it had a red cover, so I highly doubt that I criticized it back then and am now wanting it back. You are right though, HTC cannot make everyone happy. I also never said it should have come with a stock clear cover, nor did anybody else. We were simply stating that it would be nice if somebody made one that we could purchase. Thank you for your insight though.

I'm with you. I prefer the sleek minimalistic styling of a black phone. Would be nice if it had a brushed or chrome bezel though. Red is just too flashy for me.

The black cover definitely does look more professional, but I do not lead a life where I have to look professional all the time and I think that a clear back cover would be a little more fun. I would not use it full time, I would definitely swap between the two every now and then.
