Clear cache you can do by long pressing individual app tap info then storage, or go in recovery clear cache . Device care clears out ram process
I dont remember it being option in device care , and yeah recovery cache partition. Was there not an option to just clear storage cache without going through each app? When you say recovery clear cache do you mean clear cache partition?

Android has a cache - that's system cache. And each app has its own cache, and you have to go through each app to clear its cache. (Or you could use an app like BitCleaner - it goes through each app and clears its cache.)Was there not an option to just clear storage cache without going through each app?

So yes, there's a cache clear that a lot of people think clears the cache of all apps - but that's not what it does, and that's not what it ever did.
Why would they get rid of that option? Device care is about optimization as well but they take the clear cache option out of the equation? Am I the only that finds this very strange?
Samsung make a lot of stupid decisions, it's the nature of the beast. Trying to figure out the intricate web of corporate nonsense will drive you mad.
It was an option until the recent update to the Device Care app. Only way I've found is is to boot to the Recovery menu.I dont remember it being option in device care , and yeah recovery cache partition.
