After I installed 3.1 I thought I would clear my cache. When you hold down power and volume down buttons it boots normally, not into the recovery mode. Anyone else experience this after upgrading?

you need to connect usb to a pc or to usb-c headphones....then power button and volume down....

There is no home button on the Tab S7, just a power and volume toggle. I tried the connecting to PC option, and didn't work. That was suggested on the Samsung community website, some people had success with that.

Usually power the phone off just before it starts holding power/volume up.same time , your tablet has UI 3.1 ?

When I managed to do my S10+ eventually I was signed in on a Windows PC and I had to press volume UP and power and kept holding until a dead android appeared. I let go then and it went into recovery. I had been trying for months and that was the only way that worked for me.

Each device can be a little different with the power/volume down button method for recovery. I've had the best luck by pressing volume down just before the power button. If you press them together and happen to push the power button even slightly before the volume down you'll just boot up normally.

Not the issue here. This began when I upgraded to 3.1. Anyone else upgraded and have the same problem?

I'm not at home to send a pic but I can definitely confirm my Tab S7+ wifi only version does indeed have 3.1. I noticed it right after updating and was shocked too.
