Clearing and resting site cookies

I was on a sketchy website trying to watch a show and I accidentally clicked an ad that led to a porn site. I tried to go to clear and reset the cookies site saver but they are the only two websites that would not disappear. What can I do to fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Which browser? Go to the browser's settings and look for the Privacy section. Clear all browsing data "from the beginning of time," and if you're using Chrome, do the same on desktop Chrome. You can also go to Settings>Apps, select the browser, and Clear Cache/Clear Data there as well. Now see if the problem persists.
