click sound while talking

[AC Question]

i called and was talking to someone and heard a click sound as if the person i was talking to hung up on me but they didn't was that someone hanging up that they had put on hold?

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not sure how we can tell, since we don't know what it sounded like. You'd hear a click like that would be if the other person was on a landline, and someone else was listening on a separate phone on the same landline, then hung it up. But you can also hear random clicks and similar sounds if the connection isn't great.
