Clicked on spam link! Files downloaded. Please help.

[Android Central Question]

I accidentally clicked on a link on a text message that turned out to be a spam and several files automatically started downloading onto my phone.I ran three anti virus apps including norton and all of them said that there were no viruses. should i still be worried?I have blocked all my bank accounts and my cards. When can I stop worrying about the possibility of my phone being hacked? Would you recommend that I reset to factory settings?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you know what kinds of files downloaded? In general, a downloaded file won't do anything as long as you immediately deleted it without opening it.
