"Clip Tray" is the terminology LG uses for their keyboard app's enhanced clipboard -- is your phone an LG?

You should have option to swipe away or long press each item in clipboard

Which keyboard are you using? Gboard has an enhanced clipboard now that can save multiple items.

Yes Gboard I believe can I use the cleaning tool in files by google to clean it out

For Gboard, tap the 3 dot menu button just above the keyboard (to the left of the mic icon), then tap Clipboard. You'll see all of the saved items there. Long-press each one and tap Delete. I don't think there's a way to mass-delete clipped items.

You can swipe them to the left to get rid of them.

In the Gboard clipboard if you click the pencil in the top right you can select multiple to delete at once.
