Clock Themes Not Working!

For some reason the clock themes from the theme store are not working. When I apply a theme it will work for a little bit but then revert back to the ugly standard version. Yes I know I can change the colors for it but I like having a theme for the clock. I even tried the trick of having a notification on the lockscreen yet it still reverts back. I also tried several themes from the store. I never had this problem with the S7 edge.. It seems to be a common problem for S8 and up to the Note 8...
