Clock when it's charging?

I have the Gear Fit 2. It's great. Use it daily.

When you first put it on the charger the clock comes up and is nice and small. But it disappears.

So I put the Always On screen on and that doesn't change it.

Is there a way to keep the clock on while it's charging? Anyone know?
