Clockworkmod recovery loop

I rooted my phone for the first time tonight using mod manager and some other random market place rooting app. then tried installing gapps for CM7 and it messed up the phone where the home key wouldnt work and my market place app was deleted so i used privacy reset and i am not stuck in the recovery loop. yes I did a back and obviously it is not working when i try to restore from the back up. it doesnt fail it is successful but no changed results of the loop i am in. I have searched and searched but I have had no luck findning a guide without broken links or ones that work to begin with.
i am on clockworkmod 3.2.0.1

i have the same problem but my phone even after installing the zip/ files still will not reboot to the rom. it just goes back to the recovery mode.? i need some help here thank you

ok i have solved my ROM problems and found out how to do it. but now!! i am stuck on the LG screen and have no way to get off of it it wont go into recovery!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!
