Close phone from lock screen?? is there a way?

I constantly open my phone to check the time, hit the home key one handed and look at time on lock screen. But now I'm holding my phone by the bottom right corner and have dropped the phone before while trying to reach up and press the side button to close... it's a pain.
Sure I can sit there and wait for timeout, or I can put it back in my pocket, in which case it might "swipe open" and be doing all kinds of things while in there.

Wouldn't it be cool to look at the time and just click something, like the home button again, or the 'back button' and have the phone close again??

Anyone know how?

Are you sure you have the S5 as your default phone on the Play Store. I did a quick check and no problems. Says it's compatible and it installs with zero problem.

Is this a replacement lock screen? I'm using Locker Master, but there's no way (other than the power button) to turn the screen off, and it also doesn't support fingerprint unlock.

I just set up MacroDroid to announce the time audibly when I press the Home Key or the Power Button.
If I don't unlock the screen, it just goes back to sleep in about 5 seconds.

In construction, I have my AcDisply set for a 3 sec timeout, I walk but it, press the home screen button, I see the time and if anyone contacted me and walk away... it's totally cool. I also use 'Screen Off & Lock' to close the phone if opened... I never touch my side Power Button anymore...

One thing I have noticed... using this APP the lock screen comes on when I turn my phone upside down or shake it....
Maybe it's not the APP but I have not found what I need to SHUTOFF to keep this from happening!!


Is it that "active mode" in settings that cures this?
