Closed my Samsung Pay acc't. due to having to lock phone

New update requires me to place some type of lock on my phone, where I have to unlock it each time I want to do anything on it.
Not worth it to me. Uninstalled this app. Going back to charging purchases the old fashioned way.
Anyone else doing this?

Not sure if this is a "new" requirement. According to Samsung Pay "To use Samsung Pay, you need a registered fingerprint or Samsung Pay PIN."
