Closing Vlingo

I was not successful with any of the voice dialers or google voice so I downloaded Vlingo. Used it before & it works well. I noticed that after I close it, it is running in the background & draining my battery. I have to go into my settings & find the running apps & close them manually. Is there any other way to completely close Vlingo?

No.. unless using a task manager which I don't recommend. Vlingo is running in the background because it is needed by the keyboards mic button when starting up text to speech.
