Since the Nexus 7 is only available in 8gb or 16gb there will be alot of users going the cloud stroage route. I for one want to get more into using cloud storage for all my devices. So what do you use? What are you planning on using with your nexus 7?Lastly, Why do you use that particular service?:)

I've been using Google Docs pretty much exclusively for two or three years now. Even before Drive, I was using it as a backup. Drive has just made it all the easier. Although I buy my music through Amazon, I store and listen to it on Google Music.

Haven't tried anything video related with Google though. I have more or less committed to Amazon there too, but I never buy anything and rarely rent anything to begin with. So its a non-issue for me.

I use google drive and dropbox.

i use drive for files that i want to share/colaborate on. And dropbox to share/distribute larger files.

now that google docs is more than docs, I might start to use just my drive account.

I have a 500GB network accessed drive through Pogoplug. Works great for accessing stuff remotely. :)

I've been wanting to also start using cloud services and figured I would get a head start as well. I just uploaded 2600 (14gb) songs on google music. Going to sort, organize and make playlists. Will probably take several hours to do, but It will give me something to do while I impatiently wait for my N7.

I also checked out GDrive, I don't know if its for me. But I might as well use the free 5gb of storage at least for back-up.

Dropbox for work. Box and Drive for personal. I just started using Drive and it really came in handy when I needed a zip for rooting. I backed up all my rooting files and Gnex backups to Drive right before my pc crashed. I know I will be using Drive more with the nexus 7.

Im starting to try Google Drive out but I basically want cloud storage for my documents, things such as word docs and excel docs. Google Drive doesnt accept them threw the desktop app, any suggestions on something that would suit my needs? Or a potential work around? I really wanted to get into Google Drive.

Since I was fortunate enough to get a HP Touchpad during the firesale last summer, I took advantage of the free 50 GB of cloud storage on Box.net.
Already have the Box Android app on my Evo 3D, can hardly wait to get it on the Nexus 7.

I upload word docs to google drive all the time. I haven't had any problem with it, other than the format changes forced by the not very good Android apps (I'm currently using Documents to Go). - sheureka

Don't use the cloud much, never had a reason to.

Have tried out dropbox and gdrive but again, hardly ever access. Don't even have the apps on my phone.

I use the cloud for my music. Just uploaded 3,500 songs. I have signed up for Play Books but that was mostly for downloading the Nexus 7 User Guide.

I have used a lot of custom ROM's on my Nook Color and phone and really like the way google saves all of my contacts.

I just created a word doc, and dropped it into my "Drive" Folder on my desktop, and it synced fine to the net, and to my g-nex.

Drive for all documents and Titanium Backup.
Drop box for phone/tablet Camera Sync and the actual "My Docs" folder in windows(game saves, app settings, etc...)

Im going to have to try it again. Monday I attempted to do this and it didnt work for some reason. Also will Pages(Apples version of Word) files work also with Drive?

Drive does not care what the file type is. It will hold anything.

I dont exactly remember why it didnt take my word document. i think the pop up said it didnt support the format but I will check today because i would really enjoy using drive it being a Google service and all.

I'm using both Amazon and Google for music storage. I've been ripping and uploading CDs. Google is handling one CD better because Amazon creates CDs by artist and title so a various artist CD came up as 12 different CDs all with one song each. This is an old 80s best of mix so that may be an isolated incident.

Anyway, it depends on the type of file. For media I'll stick with these two because they have integrated cloud players. For office files I'd use dropbox because it's easy.
