Ive installed CyanogenMod 7 with firmware 2.3.3 into my LG Optimus T. I think its hilarious that it now thinks its the P-500 not the P-509 haha. everything works beautiful. Its a bummer that the zoom function in the camera doesn't work. but it really doesn't matter. But the only problem I've run into was the CPU. I wanted to over clock my device and it worked for about an hour. then it would show a terminal screen then shut off. then it would do it the moment my home screen comes up after turning it back on. the only way I could fix this was reflashing CM7 back on to my fone. am I doing something wrong or does it hhave something to do with the kernel?

It sounds like you overclocked it too much. Lower your overclock and try again.

If you want your phone to report as a P509 open up build.prop and change the line with P500 to P509. While you're there change locale from GB to US. Now your apps will default to US English and report as a P509. This can be done with any of the Optimus One ROMS.

i overclock to 748.8 MHz anything higher and it freezes up or slows down. my problem is the notification bar is not there and when someone calls it doesn't bring me to the incoming call

Again, it sounds like it's OC'd too far. Does the status bar issue happen when it's at stock clock?
