CM7 brightness too low

Hi, i just started using CM7, latest stable version running 7.0.3 with incredikernel

I have found only 1 problem so far, the brightness is far too low set on automatic. i have tried messing around with the two menus for brightness but i cant figure out how to make the auto brightness a little brighter. i never had this problem with other roms, its just so dark.

anyone have any ideas about this?

You might want to try the Status bar brightness, it's pretty cool.

Turn off Auto Brightness, then go to CM Settings -> Interface -> Status bar tweaks and select Status bar brightness.

Then you can long press the Status bar and scroll Left or Right to adjust brightness.

It might not be what you are looking for but it's a new feature that sometimes gets forgotten.

I am really new at this.. why are there only two values after the first two you wrote? I looked at the place to configure and there are 3 values across. What did you mean by lower screen buttons?

The menu buttons are the third set of numbers and they are only on or off, there is no "dimming" so only the first 2 are needed. You can pot "0" on the remainder for the buttons.
