CM7 ? build #23 help

I have been checking out the different ROMS the past few weeks installing them from Fresh which is very nice to myn's to CM6 then back to Fresh. The reason I went from CM6 back to Fresh I notice in CM6 my Android System in battery use is ALWAYS at 48%, with all the other ROM's it was never that high, never. So last night I though I would give the CM7 ? build #23 a try. I think this CM7 #23 ROCKS, but again my Android System in battery use is ALWAYS at 48% no matter how many times I reboot. What is the cause of this, I would love to correct it to keep CM7 running on my HTC EVO.

Just asking to see if thats the norm, thats all. I have a full charge as we speak. Let me see how it runs and will keep you posted.

Mine is 22%, but I'm on a custom kernel anyways.

Which one would you suggest for me with a new install of CM7, I've tried a few but would like to hear what you think, thanks

Mine is sitting at 8% right now. I'm on hour 34 of this charge with 46% remaining. This is after flashing just CM7 #20. Last couple of days have been light usage, mainly just calls, emails and web browsing here and there.

Whatever came with #20. (2.6.35.10-cyanogenmod shade @toxygene #1)

Whoops - Forgot to mention I've got my 3500mah battery in right now.

Your android system % doesnt mean a thing really. Worry about whats running when you gave battery issues.

Anyways, THIS is the kernel im using.
Read about it here and here. The second link hasnt been updated, as i linked you to the 0.0.4 version, but theres good info in there.
