Okay someone confirm these steps for me please.

Download CM7 and GAPPS

Place both on root of SD card

Wipe Wipe Wipe

Flash CM7 zip

boot

Wipe Wipe Wipe

Flash GAPPS zip

boot

Done?? Or missing?? Or too many steps??

download to root of card, boot into recovery, wipe wipe wipe (3 times total), flash cm7, boot up to home screen, boot down into recovery, flash GAPPs, boot up to home screen


doesn't hurt to wipe the cache/dalvik the 2nd time (but not necessary)

I flash CM7, then right after it's done I flash GAPPS... no need to wipe/wipe/wipe in between or even boot up in between... just flash, flash, then boot up... all done.

yup, exactly what fatboy said. I booted up after flashing CM7 and forgot to flash gapps and was wondering where gmail was... stupid! I flashed gapps without having to wipe before hand.

oh ya, what's up with this wiping 3x before you flash? I mean I wipe 3x before I flush, but I didn't think this was the same thing...

I think they are saying wipe data, wipe cache, and then wipe Dalvik cache... at least that is what I meant.

Flush??? I usually Flash!!!

If you have not used CWR (ClockWorkMod Recovery) and wiped the Data, Cache and Dalvik cache before flashing your ROM you might want to look at http://forums.androidcentral.com/thunderbolt-rooting-roms-hacks/77350-guide-how-backup-restore-install-roms-thunderbolt.html and follow this guide.

Any Gingerbread Radio should work... so no new radio flashing is required.

Yeah I don't know what happened but I flashed and then was stuck on the HTC screen. Waited about 10 min nothing. Pulled the battery and rebooted still stuck on the HTC screen after another 10 min. What is going on? Am I not waiting long enough.?

Check the last few threads on the CM7 thread... I just explained about check the MD5 Sum code to someone else... then how to flash this again... battery pull, boot into hboot, select Recovery, wipe data, cache, and dalvik cache, flash ROM, flash Gapps file, select reboot.
