CM7 for Eris

I know CM7 RC1 was ported over to Android (namely because I was running it for a while) and was curious if anyone knew if there was an Eris port in the works or if the Hero CDMA rom would work on the Eris.

Sorry. Shoulda been a little more specific. Is there an official CM7 final release for the Eris available/in the works?
