CM7 for Optimus T

Everything works that I use. Some people have complained about some aspects of bluetooth not working as it should, but I have no personal experience with anything not working. I use wifi everyday. Android 2.3.4 is amazing.

Latest 5/23 ROM is now available. Be sure to flash wifi-signed.zip also, as referenced in the postings, and you will be good to go.

Just got done installing this and after the wifi update, it works well. Fairly painless install.

I could not reload my contacts with titanium backup pro, USB storage does not work, my network is a number, too many problems for me.

Okay. Setting up CM7-based Android 2.3.4 on your phone does take a bit more than Android 2.2 ROMS. I don't think it is a lot of trouble, but each to his own on that decision. The procedure to upgrade is fairly simple.
1. Use Titanium backup to backup all of your apps and data
2. Boot into recovery
3. Nandroid backup
4. Clear cache, data, and Davlik-cache.
5. Install CM7 zip
6. Install gapps zip
7. Install wifi-signed zip (if indicated in the posts, otherwise forget this step)
8. Reboot
9. Go to market, download Titanium backup again, and restore all of your apps with data
10.Now, start building your home pages, and settings as you wish. Be sure to check out the Cyanogen settings tab, within general settings, to overclock your CPU for faster performance. I have mine set for 729/122, but you have have a phone that allows for more overclocking. Trial and error applies to that setting.

After about 2 hours of work, you will be pleased.

This can happen when you did not fully clear the cache, etc. I suggest you start over again from the beginning with by restoring your nandroid backup. If this does not work. I don't have any answers, as I am not an expert, but suggest you take a look at xda for more answers.

I did everything you said except the gapps zip and my contacts never came back after my titanium restore, the notification area was blank and when I changed themes it didn't get applied. I did like the look and function it and may try again if I have 2 hours :p
