cm9 bootanimations?

As I've been checking out this site for upgrades and new rooms I keep seeing these bootanimation threads for back side (whatever that is.) and others but none for cm9. I'm running quattrimus and I just wanted to know if anybody has some slick ass bootanimations and themes for cm9 particularly the Iron Man Arc Reactor ( I want that bad as hell.)

will work with CM9 AND CM7........

All a bootanimation is is a series if images shown before boot. Any bootanimation will work with any ROM, as long as it is sized correctly. Backside is a version on IHO CM7.

So how do I find out if it's sized correctly?

You can open it up and look at the desc.txt or look at the image sizes. If it's 320x480, it'll fit our phones perfectly. If it's 480x800 or anything more, clipping will occur. If you find one that you like that is too big, I'll clip it down/resize it for you. Batch actions on Photoshop make that really easy.

I am new to the bootanimations. Lg Optimus V. Could you please tell me if I am able to change all of the bootanimation screens or just one? Also if there is any good references to read up on how to change the bootanimation screens would be great!

How do I go about making one? I would like to use pics of my kids if possible. Oh, and I have this live wallpaper of Dark Ryu doin the Hadoken. (I wanna work with that one first.)

All you need is a file manager and run the boot animation .apk and install like you do any regular app. The guys on here explained it to me just like that. Oh, and ANY boot animation will run in ANY rom.
