CNet Asia review

Based on the sample shots alone, the LG G2 has the better camera. It is very noticeable. I wish Samsung put more effort into it.

The shots look good, until you blow them up to full size. But honestly I have never used ANY smartphone without needing to tweak a final image and that includes an iphone (owned 3 in addition to dozens of Android devices). Bottom line is nothing replaces a good old DSLR camera but a cameraphone or smartphone does it when it needs to.

As long as the camera is a step above my S3 which I assume it will be, I'm happy. To be fair, most of my photos get sent out in tweets or on Facebook ,so I'm ok with those shots.

After looking at some reviews for the S4 I was pleasantly surprised at how well the S4's camera held up to the iPhone 5's (relatively speaking). With all the hype over Apple's camera prowess I thought it would crush the Samsungs but that seems not to be the case. Iphone 5s steps it up a notch, but overall the S4 and presumably the Note3 are close enough (I have 2 dedicated cameras for when I want higher quality)
